Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Clarity, an AI-powered adaptive learning application (the "Service"), available at clarityadhd.app. Clarity is operated by [YOUR LEGAL NAME OR COMPANY] ("Clarity", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & age
The Service is intended for learners aged 13 and older. If you are under the age of majority in your country (typically 18), you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. The Service
Clarity generates personalized lessons, roadmaps, tutoring, practice, and other educational content using artificial intelligence. Features include a learning dashboard, an AI tutor, a creative "Playground" (including a Reading Lab and Story Engine), a companion pet, progress tracking, and achievements. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
AI-generated content disclaimer
Lessons, explanations, feedback, and other AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Clarity is a study aid, not a substitute for a qualified teacher, professional advice, or accredited instruction, and we do not guarantee any particular educational outcome, grade, or result. Always verify important information.
4. Subscriptions, Sparks & billing
Clarity offers a free tier (Explorer) and paid subscription plans (Scholar and Master). Paid plans unlock higher usage allowances and additional features. AI usage is metered with an in-app virtual currency called "Sparks", which replenishes on a schedule based on your plan. You may also purchase one-time Spark top-up packs.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our authorized reseller and merchant of record. When you subscribe or purchase, Paddle handles the transaction, billing, and applicable taxes, and Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, until cancelled.
- Free trials. Where offered, a free trial is available once per tier per user. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current paid period.
- Price changes. We may change prices; changes apply to future billing periods and we will give reasonable notice where required.
- Sparks & top-ups are a limited license to use AI features, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not redeemable for money except as required by law or our Refund Policy.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes;
- attempt to bypass usage limits, metering, rate limits, or security controls;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service or its AI outputs at scale;
- submit content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, or attempts to manipulate the AI into unsafe behavior (prompt injection);
- share your account or use it to impersonate others.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, branding, and design are owned by Clarity and its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial learning. Content you submit remains yours; you grant us a license to process it to operate and improve the Service.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clarity will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR COUNTRY/STATE], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Courts located there will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
